This year we got to spend a relaxing and snow filled, and smog free Christmas at the cabin! This year was especially fun because the girls are bigger and were excited for Santa to come, that is until they actually met him. Then when we would ask if they wanted Santa to some, they would say NO! But if we would throw in there that Santa might bring them a toy if they were good, that made them consider letting him come. Christmas eve, we did all of the traditions from a HUGE food buffet, matching jammies(which my mom made this year.....yes, she is superwoman), to our Christmas eve stockings that are jam packed with wonderful things from Mimi and Papa. After all of that excitement it was time to put the kids down to bed. Waking the girls up on Christmas was fun! They smiled for probably two seconds and then they were done and ready for a nap. UNTIL they got to open their first present from Santa, which was a baby Ariel doll complete with baba's and little Graco cribs. It was so much fun watching the excitement on all the kids faces. The next day the boys made a sledding hill complete with a jump.(my tail bone is still bruised) We just spent our time up at the cabin having fun with each other, relaxing, reading, watching movies, sledding, snowmobiling and the kids playing from sun up to sun down! What a wonderful Christmas filled with lots of love, family, and good memories!!!

Early Christmas, WWF, and pretty dresses

Addy

Nems, or as Addy has started calling her Neberie

They both started screaming when they saw it:)

Their pony's

The reining champion!

Poor Nems!

They sort of smiled! Yay!

We just received a package at our door from Uncle Mike and Aunt Kelsey in Washington. We got to open it and have a little bit of an early Christmas since we will be at the cabin and have limited room to take things up there. As you can see from the pictures, the girls LOVE to open presents and loved what they were!!! I have been wanting to get them one of these play things, but we decided on the play kitchen this year instead. I am listening to ear piercing squeals of delight right now:)Thanks Mike, Kelsey, Brogan, Asher, Ellie and Baby Everett!!! I can see many hours of fun from all of your gifts!
The girls got their Christmas dresses early too since we will be gone the Sunday after. They were a huge hit and everybody kept saying how pretty they looked! Even though they are still tiny little things I can't believe how big they are getting and all they are learning right now! Saying sentence after sentence! How blessed we are to have these two little angels(most of the time) in our home!!!
Last, but not least, they love to wrestle, well, actually, Addy loves to wrestle! She will jump on Emerie and laugh and laugh. Most of the time Emerie thinks it's pretty funny too! They are so funny to watch and listen to. I hope everyone is enjoying their holiday season!

Matt's graduation, trip to the cabin and some other random pics!!!

Addy
Emmy

Emerie has decided she needs just about every stuffed animal she has to go to sleep!

Addy has decided she needs to sleep with her flip flops on! At least if their is a fire I will only have to put shoes on one child

New snow clothes!

sort of like the little brother from Christmas Story:)

Cousin bath with Maddy

Maddy crawled up the stairs for the first time

She's not even mine and I can't believe how fast she has grown!

I love when my dad smiles like this! I can hear the laugh that goes with it!

So official!

So, this post is a little belated. Matt graduated with his associates degree and I had taken him out to celebrate, but my parents wanted to throw a little surprise party to say congrats! So, we had everyone come to my parents house and yelled surprise when he walked in. My dad has this robe, that I'm not even sure how old it is, and they made him his very own hat and yes, we even had a ceremony and everything! It was cheesy, but so much fun! I can't even say how proud I am of Matt! It has been so much work and sacrifice, and he only has a year left till his bachelors and then we can rest.......until he starts his masters!(sigh) It has been so worth it though! What a hard worker he is and I am so lucky to be married to him and love him so very much! On a side note, the picture that is just above this post is EXACTLY like one taken of my brother Ryan when he graduated. It made me tear up, but happy tears with happy memories of my brother! I sure love my family!
The other pics are just some random ones from a trip to the cabin with their new snow clothes from Mimi! They love the snow this year, which is good cause last year they just sat in it and cried!
