Savvy got Just Dance 3.....we all had fun!

We got to spend another fabulous Christmas at the cabin this last year! We wondered if there was going to be any snow up there since we hadn't had any down in the valley, but there was just enough:) We went up on the 22nd(my 30th birthday) and got to spend a relaxing 5 days that were full of all things Christmas! Including traditions of Christmas jammies, eating way too much on Christmas eve, gift exchanges, Luke 2, and so much more! I love that we have this blessing to be able to go and make these wonderful memories. Especially for my kids! They look forward to the cabin almost as much as any holiday! They love going and spending time with Luke and Maddy and all the other cousins!
Poor Nemmy woke up Christmas morning and didn't feel good, so she laid down on Matt's lap and went back to sleep. She is obviously not mine because I have always been one of the first ones up on Christmas morning:) But after she got some more shut eye in, she was up and ready to open presents! Little Miss Halle is the 5th grandchild on my side to have her first Christmas up there.
My parents spoiled all of us and at the same time helped all of us remember what is important and I am so grateful for them and their example!
We had a fantastic time and will cherish these memories always!

We had a movie night and watched Polar Express! The girl's loved it!!!

After their Christmas program

Smiley Baby!!!

Wow! December flew so fast that it hardly seems like it was even here! We were so busy and had so much fun with family and friends! We got to go to a few Christmas parties and a few Christmas dinners. For some reason, I didn't get pictures.
The girls had their Christmas program at school and Santa even showed up! They love school and have been asking when they go back!
We got to go up to Temple Square with my family and had dinner and then got to walk around! It was super crowded, but despite all the people, we still felt the spirit and got to show the girls the life size nativity, which helped them understand better the story of Christ's birth, and the real reason we celebrate Christmas!
The girls and I got to make and decorate cookies to take around and this time Sienna joined us!
Little Miss Halle is getting bigger(she is still very petite like her sisters) but bigger to us. She is smiling and cooing! This time is reminding me just how much I love this stage! All that they learn and do! I love waking up and getting her out of bed! She's a pretty serious baby and really only hands out the smiles if you really earn it. The girl's still just can't get enough of her and I sometimes have to remind them to back off so she can get some air! I have a feeling that Halle will learn fast and early to stick up for herself:)

Halle's Blessing day!

Matt blessed Halle this morning and it was beautiful! I am so grateful for him and being able to give her a blessing. We had family and friends out to share the day with us and they made it even more wonderful! We went to the club house afterwards for a little brunch and to visit. Halle got passed around and looked like an angel! Thanks everyone for coming today and for those who helped!
I thought a lot today about Addy and Emerie's blessing day and the blizzard that happened and how church got canceled. The first time in my life that Church was canceled. We loaded up the car and went to my parents house driving so super slow!
I love that I have memories of these days that time will never erase and that I will be able to share these stories with the girls as they grow older!
I'm so thankful for my little family and also my big family! Days like these remind me of all the great people I have in my life!

Just an update.......and a surprise party!

So we have been busy, busy around here! Having lots of fun and getting in the holiday spirit! We got the tree up, the lights on the house, and we've a;ready seen Santa twice! Addy and Emerie can't get enough of Halle and I often have to clear them out of her face so she can get a breather! I'm grateful they love her so much and can't say that I blame them! I love that little girl to pieces! All 3 of these girls make my days wonderful and crazy and fun!
I decided to throw Matt a surprise graduation party! I told him we were going to dinner and that my parents were watching the girls for us. He walked in and was greeted by some of our very favorite family and friends! It was a fabulous night and we had so much fun eating and talking with everyone! Matt and I really are blessed to be surrounded by such wonderful people! Thanks to my parents for letting everyone invade their house and for helping with food! Thanks to Kim, Robyn and Ashlee who helped out with food and drink too! The biggest surprise of the night was when Matt walked in the kitchen and there were his parents!!! IT brought both of us to tears and it meant the world to Matt that they made the trip and it was such a quick trip for them and we are so grateful for them coming!
We had a fantastic Thanksgiving and have SO much to be grateful for! We have been blessed beyond words and we are thankful for all that we have, the most of which is each other!!!
We hope that everyone is having a wonderful season so far and that it continues to be filled with those things that bring you happiness!
